THE MIRROR

What are you reflecting!

Do you really understand and are in control of the belief systems that govern your life?

Films like What the Bleep’ and ‘The Secret’ both have their positive aspects and have been important films in helping raise peoples awareness around how much control and input they have into creating and controlling their own reality.

Yet they are also lacking in several key fundamental areas and this is what ‘The Mirror’ addresses.

Because although positive thinking is a wonderful tool and can work very well.  For a lot of people its not a very useful tool by itself, because even though their intentions are positive, they are constantly undermined by their belief systems that silently hold them back from achieving what they want.

The problem with belief systems is that they can be very subtle and elusive, and are absolutely true if you believe them. Like when your in the proverbial forest that you cant see because of all the trees, belief systems can be hard to see when your stuck in one. Like the alcoholic who thinks their drinking is supporting them, belief systems can be addictive and we can think that they are helping us when in fact they are hindering us.

Belief systems can be handed down through families or imposed on us by society.

Family patterns repeat themselves that’s why unless we change. we are our parents becoming.

Do you take fully responsibility for all your feelings, thoughts and actions? Or do you blame others and always react instead of acting.

The questions we really need to ask ourselves are:

Examples of belief systems:

Because we take on these beliefs at a very early age they become self fulfilling proficies. We then say yes I believe this because look at my life its absolutely true. Not realising that we are always in the drivers seat, and that the world merely reflects back at us how we think and feel about ourselves.

The Mirror explains how this happens and what you can do to too change your reflection.

The Mirror draws on the collective wisdom of a variety of people who range from professionals to lay people who come from a range of backgrounds including Medical, Psychology, Psychotherapy.

They have all spent many years on personal development and give practical and simply examples of how they have changed their lives and what simple steps you can take to change yours.
